Virtutile traducerilor precise si pericolele ambiguitatilor neatente

 

"Venirea celui fărădelege va avea loc potrivit cu lucrarea lui Satan, cu tot felul de manifestări de putere, semne și minuni false și cu orice fel de amăgire a răutății pentru cei ce se pierd, pentru că n-au primit dragostea de adevăr, ca să fie mântuiți.

Și de aceea, Dumnezeu le va trimite o lucrare de rătăcire, ca să creadă minciuna, așa încât toți cei ce n-au crezut adevărul, ci și-au găsit plăcerea în nedreptate, să fie condamnați."

Cristian Badilita comenteaza ( p. 134 ) :

"nu au acceptat dragostea de adevar, ca sa se mantuiasca" ; traducerea "nu au primit dragostea de adevăr" lasa loc unei ambiguitati periculoase din punct de vedere dogmatic, sugerand ca necredinciosii nu au avut de ales, pentru ca ei "nu au primit de la Dumnezeu" capacitatea de a iubi adevarul. Prin urmare, culpa damnarii nu le apartine. Daca insa traducem corect [grecescul] "ouk edexanto" prin "nu au acceptat", ambiguitatea dispare . Lor li s-a propus adevarul dar nu l-au acceptat. Asadar nu se pot mantui din cauza propriei decizii.

NET Bible ( 2005 ) :  

The arrival of the lawless oner will be by Satan’s working with all kinds of miracless and signs and false wonders, and with every kind of evil deception directed againstt those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth*  so as to be saved.
Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.
And so all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned.

The coming of the lawless one by the activity of Satan will be with all power and with pretended signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are to perish, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore God sends upon them a strong delusion, to make them believe what is false, so that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

For this reason God h will send them a powerful delusion, leading them to believe what is false, so that all who have not believed the truth but have taken pleasure in unrighteousness will be condemned.
